I've been using F&A for my plumbing needs at my home in San Francisco for the past few years and they are simply the best. Frank is the friendliest, most understanding, and professional person you could ever want to show up at your home when you are stressed about a plumbing problem- big or small. I've worked with F&A on both. He and his crew are very easy to communicate with over text, and will always fit you in last minute if they have time-- which is awesome when you want to fix something in a pinch and want someone you can trust. I found them through good reviews online, and I want to pay that forward because the service and overall experience was exactly what I would want for someone else! Frank is also super professional about sharing the cost with you right away and sharing the options-- or mentioning that he'll make a quote and think about it if it's a complicated job. Very clear and transparent. That's really helpful for making a decision in real time and he keeps to his word. Oddly looking forward to my next plumbing issue because it's really nice to have people you can trust working on your home.

I manage an Airbnb and had a small plumbing disaster where 3 toilets, 2 in full bathrooms and 1 in a half bathroom, were all seemingly clogged. Big mess, lots of gross water in places it shouldn't be, and my valiant plunging efforts were doing no good at all. With guests checking into the Airbnb in a short period of time, I called F&A Plugging and Rooter with an urgent request to send a plumber to my Airbnb that very day. Not only was the lady on the phone very nice, but she understood the urgency of the situation. After quickly collecting information about the situation, she let me know that a plumber would be able to come that day, in about two hours. I was so relieved. Then, something even better happened. About 20 minutes after I booked the appointment, the plumber himself called me and asked if he could come by in 30 minutes - a full 1.5 hours ahead of schedule! I agreed, met him at the place, and he assessed the situation quickly and professionally. He diagnosed the plumbing issue, made a recommendation on how best to fix it, gave me a price, and got to work. Within another hour the problem was fixed. I had a great experience with F&A Plumbing and would absolutely go back to them if any other issues ever arose.

Needed a new water heater pronto. Called Frank, sent him some photos and had a price in 30 minutes. Others wanted to come out late in the afternoon and give an estimate. My water heater was up and running in the afternoon thanks to Frank at F&A Plumbing.

Had a backed up storm drain that multiple other plumbers mentioned I'd need to spend $5-10k to fix and pull permits due to needing to demo a sidewalk. Firas came out to look and said he'd give it a shot to unclog it. After 2 hours and $500 he fully unclogged it and solved the problem, likely for the long term. Totally worth the money and saved us a ton.

I'm writing this following another wonderful job from F&A Plumbing. I called this morning, and they visited THIS afternoon (even earlier than scheduled). They could not have been more friendly, more reasonably priced and more thorough in clearing my nightmare laundry sink drain. Amazing job! The air vent on our dishwasher was flooding water across our counters and below the sink. They were quick to respond, friendly, and very knowledgable.
